The CWD Management Permit application is a four-step process. 

  • Step 1: Enter the Landowner ID provided to you by MDC.
  • Step 2: Review the contact information we have on file for the Landowner ID and update if necessary.
  • Step 3: Enter the Conservation ID and Date of Birth of the Landowner or Designated Representative who will be assigned the CWD Management Permits allocations.
    • Definitions:
      Landowner: An individual who owns land solely or jointly, or as a corporate entity or trust. 
      Designated Representative: An individual who is acting on behalf of the landowner. 
    • NOTE: CWD Management Permit allocations will be assigned to either the landowner or the designated representative and they can share those permits allocations with other hunters. 
  • Step 4: Review the Application Acknowledgment and verify the information you provided is accurate before submitting the application.

NOTE: Your application will take approximately 2-3 weeks to review process and allocate the CWD Management Permits. You will be notified when your application has been approved and will be provided with a unique code via mail to be used to obtain the CWD Management Permits.

Unique Code: A unique code used to acquire the CWD Management Permit allocations by the landowner, designated representative, or other hunters.

You should have received a landowner ID from MDC staff. You will need that to start the application process.
