If you wish to view or obtain copies of Department of Conservation records, please submit a request through the MDC Public Records Center. The Public Records Center is the fastest and easiest method to obtain public records. You may also submit your request by faxing your request to the Custodian of Records at 573-751-4467 or mailing a request to this address:
Missouri Department of Conservation
Attn: Custodian of Records
P.O. Box 180
Jefferson City, MO 65102
Cost
Fees for research and duplication may be collected as provided by law. If fees are to be assessed, the Department will provide the requester with an estimate of the costs associated with researching or copying the requested records. If the requestor still desires to proceed, the records will be researched and copied and then a final invoice reflecting actual costs will be provided. Payment will be required prior to records being released. Fees may be waived at the Department's discretion if the requested information is likely to contribute to public understanding or benefit the general public and is not primarily for the commercial interest of the requestor.
