Hiking

Join us as we traverse the Blue Loop trail on the White River Valley Traill system at Table Rock Lake State Park. This 3-mile trail is rated moderate in difficulty. Please wear sturdy hiking shoes and bring trekking poles or a hiking stick if you have one. Bring lunch and a water bottle. Meet at the Nature Center and carpool.

Birds

Volunteer Naturalist Myra Scroggs will help you find migrating birds during this indoor and outdoor program. Ages 7 to adult.

Insects

Explore the different species of cicadas found in Missouri and learn about the emergence of the periodical cicadas this summer. Please include a valid email address when you register so we can send you a virtual program link. This program will not be recorded.

Archery

We will discuss the correct shot placement on North American game animals along with the correct safety protocol, used when shooting on a 3D archery range. We will shoot a variety of game animal targets, from the ground and from an elevated tower. This class will enable you to master those tough shots when shooting at large game animals. This program is not for the beginning archery shooter as it is an intermediate level program, so unless you are beyond the basics in archery this program is not for you.
