WEST PLAINS, Mo. – With the recent flooding across southern Missouri, many water access points across the southern portion of the state are damaged. The Missouri Department of Conservation (MDC) has temporarily closed Jerome Access due to extensive flooding damage.
“We are working to come up with a repair plan but because of the extent of the damage, final repairs may be weeks away,” said Dave Mayers, MDC’s Fisheries Supervisor for the Ozark Region.
Jerome Access is one-tenth of a mile off Route D in Jerome. For more information about Jerome Access or other conservation areas in Missouri, go online to mdc.mo.gov.
