Description
This calm, flexible program is an opportunity for individuals with cognitive, physical, and developmental delays to experience nature in a sensory-friendly environment.
As daylight fades, Missouri’s wildlife comes alive! Join us for an after-hours evening at the nature center to explore the animals that thrive after dark and the senses they rely on. Move at your own pace through hands-on stations highlighting nocturnal adaptations, and join one of our guided, sensory-focused walks along the ADA-accessible trail at 6:45 or 7:15. Contact Runge with any requests for additional accommodations. Please register each individual attending, including caregivers and family members. Dress for the weather if planning to participate in the guided walk.
