Description

Join local Conservation employees for a morning of planting native trees along a stretch of a degraded drainage to help support water quality from field runoff while preventing erosion. We will meet at the pavilion downhill from the parking lot to learn about native tree importance and how to plant the tree saplings. Bring your shovels, wear long pants and closed toe shoes. We will have a supply of tree planting bars to utilize.

Participants will also see a pull behind tree planter in use. Participants can choose to be as involved as they would like in the process of planting over 2,000 trees covering 33 different species. We will be planting along our trail system to help develop a new Tree ID trail.
