KANSAS CITY MO - Waterfowl art fans may want to set their wings and glide into the Anita B. Gorman Discovery Center at 4750 Troost Ave. in Kansas City. The winning entries for the 2010 Missouri Junior Duck Stamp artwork contest are on display through October near the center’s educational classrooms. Students from kindergarten to grade 12 created watercolor drawings of ducks and geese and their entries were divided into four age groups. The statewide contest was sponsored by Bass Pro Shops, the Big Muddy National Wildlife Refuge and the Friends of Big Muddy. Many of the winning entries on display were drawn by students from the Kansas City region.
