Parkville, Mo. – Visitors to the Missouri Department of Conservation’s (MDC) Parma Woods Shooting Range at Parkville may need to use an alternate route to reach the range. The city of Parkville is closing Northwest River Road west of Thousand Oaks for approximately two weeks starting Aug. 13 to install a culvert. Visitors will not be able to reach the range traveling from east of Interstate 435.
The range can still be reached via Missouri 45 and turning onto Northwest River Road, west of I-435 approximately one mile.
Parma Woods is at 15900 N.W. River Road. For more information about the range and maps, visit http://mdc.mo.gov/parmawoods.
