KANSAS CITY MO -- The Missouri Department of Conservation (MDC) is seeking information about three deer killed illegally in the early morning hours of Dec. 10 inside the Warrensburg city limits near Lions Lake and the University Central Missouri’s Keth Memorial Golf Course.
A buck, a doe and a fawn were killed, said Conservation Agent Kevin Zielke. The buck was left on the hood of a UCM student’s car at an apartment complex, and the doe and the fawn were left in the field.
Anyone with information can call Zielke at 660-422-0717, or call the Operation Game Thief Hotline at 1-800-392-1111. Operation Game Thief offers rewards from $50 to $1,000 for information leading to an arrest for a fish and wildlife code violation.
