JEFFERSON CITY Mo – The Missouri Department of Conservation’s Runge Conservation Nature Center in Jefferson City will hold a native plant sale on Saturday, March 26, from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Learn about and purchase native flowers, shrubs and trees from Missouri vendors Andy’s Native Plant Company, Forrest Keeling Nursery, Missouri Wildflowers, Pleasant View Landscaping, Inc., and Prairie Hill Farm Greenhouses.
Activities will include making newspaper flowerpots and planting wildflower seeds. A certified arborist will also be available to answer questions. Amy Hamilton of Native Outpost will present a program at 11 a.m. on preparing seedbeds for a visual display of wildflowers from spring to fall.
