KIRKWOOD, Mo.—The Missouri Department of Conservation’s (MDC) Powder Valley Nature Center in Kirkwood will be closed Saturday afternoon, Oct. 29 due to a water main break, which has disrupted plumbing and restroom services. The closure applies to the building only. The trails and grounds are still open until 8 pm. this evening, without outdoor restroom service however.
The nature center is normally closed Sundays and Mondays. Powder Valley is expected to resume normal 8 a.m.-5 p.m. operating hours on Tuesday, Oct. 31.
Powder Valley Conservation Nature Center is located at 11715 Cragwold Road, near the intersection of I-44 and I-270.
