St. Joseph, Mo. – Have fun with nature exhibits and games when the Missouri Department of Conservation (MDC) and partners host a free Conservation Carnival from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, April 29, at Looney Arena in St. Joseph. Co-hosts are Missouri Western State University and the student chapter of the Wildlife Society.
College students and MDC staff will entertain visitors with nature-themed carnival games and fun activities for all ages. No registration is required for this walk-in event. Visitors can meet and take a selfie with Smokey the Bear. Prizes and souvenirs will be offered.
