MDC offices closed on Veterans Day, phone lines open

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. -- Missouri Department of Conservation (MDC) offices and nature centers will be closed on Friday, Nov. 11, in honor of Veterans Day. MDC staffed shooting ranges will be open.

MDC Permit Services staff will be answering phones on this day before the opening weekend of the fall firearms deer hunting season to help with permit inquiries. Hunter Education staff will also be available to answer related questions. Call 573-751-4115.

Buy hunting and fishing permits from vendors around the state, online at mdc.mo.gov/buypermits, or through MDC’s free mobile apps -- Mo Hunting and Mo Fishing --  available for download through Google Play for Android devices or the App Store for Apple devices.
