SEDALIA MO -- The Missouri Department of Conservation (MDC) will host a workshop on how to make holiday ornaments from natural items found in woods, wetlands and prairies. The “Holiday Ornaments from Nature’s Bounty” class will be from 6:30 to 9 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 27, in the MDC Discovery Room at the Missouri State Fairgrounds in Sedalia.
Attendees will learn how to make holiday tree ornaments from items such as acorns, lotus pods and pine cones. The workshop is free but registration is required. For more information or to register, contact Andrea Thierfelder at 660-530-5500 or andrea.thierfelder@mdc.mo.gov.
