ST. JOSEPH, Mo. – The Missouri Department of Conservation (MDC) invites kids to a Free Fishing Derby on Saturday, Oct. 23, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Everyday Pond across from the baseball field on the Missouri Western State University Campus off of James McCarthy Drive in Saint Joseph.
The event is limited to 30 kids, and they will receive free fishing gear such as poles and tackle boxes.
