MDC offers free guided nature hike June 3 in St. Joseph
St. Joseph, Mo. – The Missouri Department of Conservation (MDC) will offer a free guided hike from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 3, starting at the MDC Northwest Regional Office in St. Joseph. Participants will hike the Otoe Creek Trail on the campus of Missouri Western State University.
This event is open to all ages. Families are welcome. The hike will be led by Shelby Smith, MDC naturalist. Hikers will get to see updates to the trail and Smith will point out spring blooms and birds along the way.
