Kansas City, Mo. – The Missouri Department of Conservation (MDC) will offer a free class on scopes for hunting and target shooting from 6 to 9 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 15, at the Parma Woods Shooting Range near Parkville. Scopes come in a wide array of styles and often serve specific purposes to improve accuracy for hunters or target shooters.
MDC’s class will cover how to select the right optic, options for mounting it to the gun, and how to mount them. Instructors will also discuss how to bore sight a scope.
This class is for participants ages 11 and older. COVID-19 safety precautions will be followed. Registration is required. To register, visit https://short.mdc.mo.gov/Zvq.
