MDC offers Discover Nature reloading workshops in Columbia Jan. 4 and 31
COLUMBIA, Mo. - The Missouri Department of Conservation (MDC) will offer two workshops on the basics of reloading metallic ammunition cartridges. Both workshops will take place from 5:30 – 9:00 p.m. at the MDC Central Region Office located at 3500 East Gans Road in Columbia. The first workshop will take place on Wednesday, Jan. 4, and the second workshop will take place on Wednesday, Jan. 31.
Whether participants want to enjoy more time on the shooting range or develop a special load for their next hunt, this class will teach the basics. Participants will learn about safety, techniques, equipment, and more. This program will consist of classroom lessons mentored by an experienced ammunition reloader.
Participants must be at least 18-years old, or 15-17-years old if accompanied by an adult. To attend, participants must register by contacting MDC Outdoor Skills Specialist Brian Flowers at brian.flowers@mdc.mo.gov or (573) 815-7901 ext. 2867. Register for the first workshop by Monday, Jan. 2. Register for the second workshop by Monday, Jan. 29.
