Clinton, Mo. – The Missouri Department of Conservation (MDC) and partners will offer a free Youth Waterfowl Clinic 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 23, at the DuckHorn Lodge near Urich, Mo. This clinic is open to youths ages 10 to 15.
MDC staff and volunteers will teach gun safety and duck calling skills. Instructors will supervise patterning of shotguns and clay target shooting. MDC will provide all equipment needed including shotguns and ammunition. Participants may also bring their own shotguns. A fully-guided duck hunt will be arranged for each participant.
