SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – People wanting to learn more about outdoors photography are invited to attend the Missouri Department of Conservation (MDC) program “Nature and the Arts: Behind the Lens With Matt Miles” on Sept. 22 at the Springfield Conservation Nature Center. At this free program, which is from 7-8 p.m. in the Nature Center auditorium, Miles will describe the techniques he used to get photographs for his newly released book, “Missouri, Wild and Wonderful.”
A book signing will follow the presentation. The program, which is for ages 12-adult, is part of the Nature Center’s “Nature and the Arts” series of programs. To register, call 417-888-4237. The Nature Center is located at 4601 South Nature Center Way in Springfield.
