MDC invites you to holiday nature crafting event in Kirksville
KIRKSVILLE, Mo. — Do you love making handmade gifts for friends and family? Join the Missouri Department of Conservation (MDC) for the annual Discover Nature–Families holiday nature crafting event from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 10, at the Northeast Regional Office, 3500 S. Baltimore in Kirksville. The program is free and all ages are welcome to attend, but children must be accompanied by an adult. Registration is required by Dec. 5.
Just in time for the holidays, bring the family to make tree ornaments, decorations, and bird feeders out of a variety of natural items.
"All materials and supplies will be provided to help you create a special gift for a family member or a feathered friend," said MDC Education Consultant Karen Armstrong. "It's a fun way to get together and make lasting memories during the busy holiday season."
