KIRKSVILLE, Mo. — Do you like to make handmade holiday gifts for friends and family? Join the Missouri Department of Conservation (MDC) for the annual holiday nature crafting event from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 10 at the MDC Northeast Regional Office, 3500 S. Baltimore St. in Kirksville.
Just in time for the holidays, attendees will learn to create ornaments, decorations, and bird feeders. This workshop is FREE and open to all ages. All materials and supplies needed to create a special gift made with items from nature will be provided.
“Join us for a fun-filled evening creating handmade ornaments for your family’s tree or to give to a friend,” said MDC Conservation Educator Karen Armstrong.
Space is limited for this popular workshop, and participants must preregister by 5 p.m. on Dec. 10. For more information or to register, call (660) 785-2420.
