Keytesville, Mo. – The Missouri Department of Conservation will host a free deer management workshop 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Sept. 30, at the Keytesville Community Center, 301 W. Bridge St. This workshop will help landowners and land managers develop strategies for maintaining or boosting healthy deer populations on private land. A free lunch will be provided.
MDC experts will discuss how to use food plots to attract deer, habitat management for deer, harvest strategies, and disease considerations when managing for white-tailed deer. Door prizes will be given out.
