MDC to host birding bingo March 28 in St. Joseph
St. Joseph, Mo. – Bird bingo anyone? The Missouri Department of Conservation (MDC) will offer this free fun activity for all ages 9:30-10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, March 28, at MDC’s Northwest Regional Office, 701 James McCarthy Drive in St. Joseph. The office is on the campus of Missouri Western State University.
MDC Naturalist Jada Tressler will lead bird bingo, and she’ll have binoculars and birding tips for attendees. This outdoor activity involves watching birds of different colors visit the office’s bird feeders. Those who spot the right combination of colors can be the first to yell “bingo.” This is a fun activity for children and adults. Registration is not necessary for this walk-in program.
