ST. LOUIS, Mo. — The Missouri Department of Conservation (MDC) will close both of its staffed shooting ranges in the St. Louis region on Sunday, Feb. 10, due to unsafe weather conditions.
The August A. Busch Shooting Range and Outdoor Education Center in Defiance and the Jay Henges Shooting Range and Outdoor Education Center in High Ridge will shut down temporarily because ice has made both ranges unsafe for use.
Both ranges will return to normal operating hours when weather conditions improve.
The Busch Shooting Range is located at 3550 Highway D in Defiance, and the Jay Henges Shooting Range is at 1100 Antire Road High Ridge.
