Kansas City, Mo. – The Missouri Department of Conservation (MDC) has temporarily closed the Anita B. Gorman Discovery Center until further notice. The center is closed due to storm-related outages. MDC will reopen the center when all systems are in working order.

The grounds at the Discovery Center will remain open for visitors, such as the native plant garden and walking paths. Also, a Ladies Night Out event scheduled for 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, July 18, at Discovery Center, will be held as planned in the outdoor area.
