MDC and American Red Cross host blood drive in Columbia Aug. 24

COLUMBIA, Mo. – Roll up your sleeve and help the Missouri Department of Conservation (MDC) make a meaningful difference for medical patients in mid-Missouri by donating blood Monday, Aug. 24 in Columbia.

MDC has partnered with the American Red Cross to host a blood drive at MDC’s Central Regional Office, 3500 E. Gans Road in Columbia. This event is open to the public and will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Participants are encouraged to schedule appointments at http://short.mdc.mo.gov/oGs. Walk-in donations will also be accepted.

As a reminder, donors must be at least 16 years old, in good general health and feeling well on the day of donation. Donations can be made up to six times per year. View all blood donation requirements at  http://short.mdc.mo.gov/oGn.
