SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – Watching birds in your backyard in winter is a great way to connect with nature while still enjoying the indoor comforts of your home.
Learn more about some of the birds commonly seen in Missouri’s backyards and how you can draw them to your yard at the Missouri Department of Conservation (MDC) program “Backyard Bird Feeding” Nov. 9 at MDC’s Southwest Regional Office located at 2630 N. Mayfair Ave. in Springfield. This free program, which is for ages 16 and older, will be 9 a.m.-noon. People can register for this program at:
