Join Cape Nature Center for nature photography program
CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. – The Missouri Department of Conservation’s Cape Girardeau Conservation Nature Center will host wildlife photographer Matt Miles Friday, Dec. 8, at 6:30 p.m. The hour-long program is titled “Behind the Lens” and focuses on the photographer’s recent publication: Missouri, Wild and Wonderful.
“Matt has taken some beautiful photos of nature,” said Sara Turner, manager of the nature center. “We’re excited to hear his stories of being out in the field, capturing these images.”
Miles will describe many of his remarkable wildlife and nature photos featured in his book and offer details of the work leading up to his new book. An opportunity to purchase signed copies of the book will follow the presentation.
Guests ages eight and older are welcome, as well as groups. Registration is required online at mdc.mo.gov/events. Information on other programs at the Cape Girardeau Conservation Nature Center can be found at mdc.mo.gov/CapeNatureCenter.
