WESTPHALIA Mo -- The Missouri Department of Conservation (MDC), Osage and Maries County Natural Resource Conservation Service (NRCS) and Soil and Water Conservation District (SWCD) will host a free workshop on pond management on Tuesday, March 29, 6:30 – 9 p.m. at the Fatima Public School in Westphalia.
Workshop topics will include site selection and construction, fish stocking and management, aquatic vegetation management, watershed management and wildlife management. Professionals from MDC, NRCS and SWCD will give presentations and answer questions. Additional information and refreshments will be provided.
