SPRINGFIELD Mo -- Some popular super heroes make a pitch for conservation during two nights of Halloween fun from 6:30 - 9:30 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 27, and Friday, Oct. 28, at the Missouri Department of Conservation’s (MDC) Springfield Conservation Nature Center. Individuals of all ages are invited to join in the fun of the Nature Center’s “Halloween Happening – Super Hero Style.”
Guests will be led on guided trail hikes where they will learn how adaptations animals make to survive in the wild rival the powers of super heroes. The last hike is scheduled to leave the Nature Center building at 9 p.m. While the hikes are taking place on the Nature Center’s trails, activities will be going on in the building.
The event is free to the public. For more information, call the Nature Center at 888-4237.
The Nature Center is located at 4601 S. Nature Center Way in Springfield.
