Sterling Price Community Lake


Bluegill, channel catfish, largemouth bass are proven stocking combination that provides both food and sport-fishing. When stocked in this order and properly managed, these species provide great fishing and good eating.

Annual Prospects Report

This 35-acre lake provides excellent bank and boat fishing for crappie, bluegill, redear sunfish and largemouth bass. There is a 12- to 15-inch protected slot length for largemouth bass. Anglers regularly catch bass exceeding 15-inches. They are encouraged to keep bass that are below 12-inches. Many of the panfish are 8-inches or larger. There is a gravel boat ramp and a privy on the north side of the lake.

From Salisbury Mo. Take hwy 24 west 1.7 mi. to county rd. Sterling Ave. Take Sterling Ave. 0.8 mi to lake which is located on the west side of the road.
