Bluegill, channel catfish, largemouth bass are proven stocking combination that provides both food and sport-fishing. When stocked in this order and properly managed, these species provide great fishing and good eating.

Annual Prospects Report

This area has three ponds. Only the Pond 1 will have continued good fishing for channel catfish as they are stocked every year. Pond 1, located closest to the parking lot, is a four-acre pond that will have fair fishing for largemouth bass and bluegill.

Driving Directions

From I-49/Highway 71 exit 70 south of Lamar, take Highway 126 east 4 miles, and SE 40 Lane (gravel) south 1 mile.
