Kansas City, Mo. – Nature provides both nibbles and meals in the wild, if you know what to look for out in nature. MDC staff and volunteers will discuss edible greens, nuts, and berries.
The foraging session will be conducted along the Little Blue Trace Trail operated by the Jackson County Parks and Recreation Department. Advance registration is required for this session, and participants registering will receive instructions on where to rendezvous for the start of the hike and instruction. Participants are encouraged to bring cameras, plant identification books and collection bags.
