CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. -- The Missouri Department of Conservation (MDC) announces the temporary closure of the Apple Creek Conservation Area Shooting Range on Saturday, July 23, through Sunday, July 24.
The temporary closure is in cooperation with the Cape Girardeau County Sheriff’s Department as they search for information regarding the case of a missing Jackson woman, Jacque Waller.
MDC’s Southeast Regional Forestry Supervisor Joe Garvey said only the range portion of the conservation area will be closed. Other portions of the area will be open for normal use. Other available shooting ranges may be found at www.MissouriConservation.org.
