Chillicothe Mo -- A free seminar to help landowners boost grassland bird populations, including bobwhite quail, will be offered from 7 to 11 a.m. on March 5 at the Litton Community Room near Chillicothe.
The Missouri Department of Conservation (MDC) will host the seminar, which includes a free breakfast for attendees. Landowners will talk about successes they’ve had in boosting upland bird populations with habitat management. Biologists will discuss challenges facing quail and other grassland birds.
The seminar is limited to 100 attendees. Registration must be made by March 2. For more information or to register, call 660-359-5685, ext. 114.
