99 Wild Ways to Xplor

At Xplor, we never miss the chance to celebrate a milestone. We like the pointy hats, the games, and the cake — especially the cake. So when we noticed this would be our 100th issue, we knew we needed to do something special.

Xplor landed in mailboxes for the first time in February 2010. (Wow, that was a long time ago!) The first issue had a dancing prairie-chicken on the outside and a simple idea on the inside: We wanted to inspire our readers to explore nature. Over the next 16 years, we tried to do just that.

To celebrate this milestone, we chose one exploration idea from each of the past 99 issues and smooshed them all between the covers of this magazine.

So read on … but just for a little bit. Then put the magazine away.
