Calling all outdoor adventurers! First time waterfowl hunters are invited to experience the excitement of waterfowl hunting during the Middle Zone Waterfowl season at Four Rivers Conservation Area.
Eligibility requirement is that you are at least 18 years old and have never hunted waterfowl before.
To be selected for the mentored hunt portion of the event, participation at the "Duck Camp" is required. Duck Camp will be held on Monday, Dec 21, at 5:00 p.m. in the Headquarters Draw Room at Four Rivers Conservation Area. Missouri Department of Conservation staff will teach participants the fundamentals of duck hunting, including duck calling, decoy placement, waterfowl identification, and hunting safety—everything needed to prepare for an unforgettable morning in the marsh.
Six participants will be selected for the mentored hunt portion of the event on Tuesday, Dec 22.. Waders will be provided for the Tuesday hunt, and each participant will be paired with an experienced waterfowl hunter who will share their knowledge, skills, and passion for the outdoors.
