As we enter the holiday season, we will gather with friends and family to share traditions and reflect on the year behind and the year ahead. It’s also a time to appreciate the landscapes and wildlife that shape our lives and the many people that keep conservation moving forward, many of which are captured in this issue. Much of my most memorable time is spent with family in the outdoors, as captured in the picture below.
Time in the outdoors often reminds me to slow down to enjoy and embrace what matters most. May this holiday season bring you time in the outdoors and moments of gratitude with the people and places that matter most to you.
