Wild Turkey

An adult male wild turkey scratches through the freshly fallen snow in search of food. Powerful legs and large claw like feet enable turkeys to forage even in deep snow. Iced-over snow may make feeding difficult, but turkeys are adaptable and can usually find other sources of food until the weather moderates and their normal feeding patterns can resume.
