Waterfowl hunting opportunities are available through the Missouri Department of Conservation's managed hunt process. Shooting hours are 1/2 hour before sunrise to 1:00 p.m. with gates closing promptly at 2:30 p.m. For more details please contact the Missouri Department of Conservation's Southwest Regional Office, 417-895-6880. All other activites must follow park access hours which are sunrise to sunset.

On Springfield City Utilities (Fellows Lake): (A) Boats are permitted but must be launched at the ramp or hand launched at the designated blind site daily and removed from the lake by sunset daily. (B) Outboard motors not in excess of forty (40) horsepower may be used.
