The Missouri Conservation Commission met July 11 for a workshop and closed executive session at the MDC Central Regional Office & Conservation Research Center, 3500 E. Gans Road in Columbia. The Commission met July 12 for its regular open meeting at Conservation Department Headquarters, 2901 W. Truman Blvd. in Jefferson City. Commissioners attending the open meeting in person or online were:

ADMINISTRATION

The Commission:

  • Approved consideration of bids for the construction of the Conservation Commission Headquarters Runge Conservation Nature Center Siding Replacement project located in Jefferson City, Missouri.
  • Approved the purchase of approximately 56 acres in Sullivan County as an addition to Morris Prairie Conservation Area.
  • Approved the exchange of two MDC tracts approximately 627 acres in Shannon County for nine tracts of similar land owned by Pioneer Forest, LLC totaling 627 acres.
  • Approved the purchase of approximately 28 acres in Webster County as an addition to Niangua Conservation Area.
  • Approved the suspension or revocation of one or more hunting, fishing, or trapping privileges of 32 individuals for cause:
