The Missouri Conservation Commission met Dec. 1 for a workshop and closed executive session and Dec. 2 for its regular open meeting. All were held at Conservation Department Headquarters, 2901 W. Truman Blvd. in Jefferson City.

ADMINISTRATION
The Commission:
- Approved season dates for each portion of the 2023-2024 firearms deer hunting season and approved proposed changes to regulations related to CWD Management.
- Approved 2023 Missouri spring turkey hunting regulations recommendations.
- Approved the sale of the 56-acre Price Bridge Access in Chariton County.
- Approved the purchase of approximately 210 acres in Adair County as an addition to the Northeast Regional Office.
- Approved the purchase of approximately 80 acres in Pemiscot County as an addition to the Desoto Unit of Black Island Conservation Area.
- Approved MDC to convey ownership of the 5-acre Perry Towersite in Perry County.
- Approved MDC to convey ownership of the 5-acre Squires Towersite in Douglas County.
- Approved the advertisement and sale of an estimated 1,252,045 board feet of timber located on 385 acres of Compartment 6, Coldwater Conservation Area in Wayne County.
- Approved MDC recommendations to suspend or revoke one or more hunting, fishing, or trapping privileges of 23 individuals for cause:

- Set the next regular meeting for Feb. 3, 2023.
