Join us for a native seed collection workshop where we will be collecting seed by hand and learning how to identify plants by seed-head, how to collect seed from different families, and meet other locals with similar interest in your community! Seed collected from each site will remain onsite to ensure local ecotype recruitment of new plants. We encourage participants to wear closed-toe shoes, long sleeves, and insect repellant treated clothes. We will provide clippers, buckets, and water but bringing your own equipment is encouraged.

Students must be 11 years old and need to complete the knowledge session of the course, prior to skills session, by doing the online portion or filling out the student manual chapter review questions. Please bring proof of completion of the Knowledge portion on the evening of the course.

Virtual Vice; Fly Tying at Home. In this session we will have T.J. and Mike tying antique Mary Orvis Marbury flies from her book, "Favorite Flies and Their Histories" from 1892. Have your fly-tying tools out and ready. we will have a more complete material list soon.
