SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – The Missouri Department of Conservation’s Springfield Conservation Nature Center reminds visitors that the facility begins its summer schedule March 1. From March 1 through Oct. 31, the Nature Center building will be open from noon to 5 p.m. on Sundays and the trail hours will be from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily. The Nature Center building remains closed on Mondays and open Tuesday-Saturday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The Springfield Conservation Nature Center is located in southeast Springfield at 4601 S. Nature Center Way. For more information about the Nature Center’s summer hours, trails, or for information about upcoming events, call 417-888-4237.
