Runge to host “Cooking Wild” book signing
JEFFERSON CITY Mo – The Missouri Department of Conservation’s (MDC) Runge Nature Center will host “Cooking Wild in Missouri” author Bernadette Dryden on Thursday, Oct. 20, from 6:30 – 8 p.m. for a book signing. Dryden, a former editor and publications supervisor with MDC, has combined her love of Missouri's outdoors with her love of cooking in the recently released MDC cookbook "Cooking Wild in Missouri." She will sign books and share her love of cooking WILD at the event. Attendees are encouraged to bring their copies of “Cooking Wild” or to purchase copies that evening at a special $3-discount rate of $12.
