St. Joseph, Mo. – The Missouri Department of Conservation (MDC) and partners will offer a Small Acreage and Land Entrepreneurs Conference 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 4, at Spratt Hall on the Missouri Western State University campus in St. Joseph. Conservation topics will include agroforestry, cover crops, attracting pollinators and soils. Agriculture topics will also be covered.
Partners for hosting the event include the U.S. Department of Agriculture and University of Missouri Extension. Farm topics addressed include beekeeping, blueberries and other land practices useful on small acreages.
