MDC hosts pond management workshop April 22

Warrensburg, Mo. – Ponds and small lakes are easily accessed waters and help make Missouri a great place to fish. The Missouri Department of Conservation (MDC) will offer a free pond management workshop 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 22, at the Trails Regional Public Library, 432 N. Holden St., in Warrensburg.

MDC staff will provide information about fish stocking, fish management, vegetation control and approaches to solving common pond problems. The workshop is designed for anyone considering building a new pond or those seeking advice for managing an existing pond.
