COLUMBIA, Mo. – The Missouri Department of Conservation (MDC) announces that sufficient pumping capacity has been restored at Eagle Bluffs Conservation Area (CA), allowing MDC staff to begin water management efforts leading into waterfowl hunting season. Because MDC staff can manage water once again, waterfowl hunting on the area will be possible beginning on the opening day of season for the Middle Zone, Nov. 7.
Applications for in-season reservations at Eagle Bluffs CA will become available Nov. 3 for the week of Nov. 17. The Eagle Bluffs CA hotline will remain updated throughout the season with any information related to the area. That hotline can be reached at 573-446-6743.
Work related to the Missouri River water supply pumps replacement project nears completion, but until the project is finalized, the River Parking lot will remain closed.
