A “Whitetail Deer Landowner Workshop” seminar will be held from 6:30 to 9 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 19 in the Citizen’s Memorial Hospital Community Room in Bolivar. The workshop is being presented by the Missouri Department of Conservation and the University of Missouri Extension.
Topics that will be covered include how to improve habitat for deer on private land, how to monitor deer herd on private land, information on regulations pertaining to whitetail deer, present and future management challenges of Missouri’s whitetail deer herd, and cost-share programs available to landowners.
